The brilliant artist/writer Naoko Fujimoto has been curating graphic reviews of books on the RHINO website, and asked me to contribute a review of my choice. I immediately knew I wanted to review Ladan Osman’s Exiles of Eden, as the book came out somewhat recently, and Osman is one of my favorite writers. I was very honored to be included in these reviews–the other reviewers are so talented! I don’t actually have formal training in art (unless you count all my years as a floral designer), so I feel I am just learning.
