Last year, I was accepted into Indiana University/ Purdue University Indianapolis’s Religion, Spirituality and the Arts program. During that time, we studied texts and works of art in hopes of producing our own work. I am especially proud of a five part poem that I produced, and which is featured in IUPUI’s online exhibit. Along with my poem, I worked with two artists, Nasreen Kahn & Alisa Mahjoub, to produce a large visual poem/ collage inspired by this poem. Check out the full exhibit here.
