I read the poem, “Place The Lightning Bolt In Your Hair,” which explores the topics of anger, depression and my greatest disappointments in life. The poem also keeps going back to images related to Slavic mythology, which I have been studying, due to my Slavic heritage (my grandparents were immigrants from Eastern Europe).
